About the Blogger

Homo sapiens born and bred. Bilateral upright design with anterior visual and vocal interfaces, and primary processor and controls located superiorly. I also have rhythm.

I have a journalism degree and am working on another one in software development. My boys are 4 and 1 and my husband is much older than that.

I was molested numerous times during a school year in grade school. It ended when we moved away at the end of the year. That’s the depressing story, but I’m fine and having a great time now.

I vote in order to retain griping rights about all the politicians who annoy me and I give blood whenever they’ll take it because I like the stickers and don’t mind needles. I care deeply about women’s quality of life everywhere in the world. If I were a little crazier than I am now, I’d run for political office (then I could be one of the many politicians who annoy me).

Life would not be the same without rejection, humor, and a good embrasure for French horn playing.

  1. As a 52 y/o male victim of female perpetrated childhood sexual assault, I have to say I could not have written this any better.
Recognition, not to mention any semblance of treatment in the female predominant industry, for male victims of sexual assault in the south east is non existent, and disclosure can be guilt exasperating, (koo koo ka choo Mrs. Robinson), to even dangerous in some of the right wing religious circles.
    Very well written.
